Mind–Body Interaction and Modern Physics

چکیده
The idea that mind and body are distinct entities interact is often claimed to be incompatible with physics. aim of this paper disprove claim. To end, we construct a broad mathematical framework describes theories mind–body interaction (MBI) as an extension current physical theories. We employ histories theory, i.e., formulation in which system described terms (i) set propositions about possible evolutions the (ii) probability assignment such propositions. notion dynamics incorporated into rule. As emphasises logical probabilistic concepts, it ontologically neutral. It can used describe mental ‘degrees freedom’ addition ones. This results for psycho-physical ( $$\Psi \Phi$$ I formalism). Interestingly, class turns out compatible energy conservation.

The Copenhagen interpretation According to modern physics, the world is made up from small bits of energy, called ‘quanta’. Each object in the world is a quantum system, made up of individual quanta acting together. In effect, this is like saying that the world and its objects are made up of interacting particles, except that quanta are not quite particles. The trouble is that quanta sometimes ...

An earlier draft dated January, 1956 was circulated to several physicists whose comments were helpful.
